Moments echo through history

History leaves echoes in time
Time and time again humans repeat the echoes
Echoes makes humans history go round
Written for the prompt at dVerse ~ Poetics: Echo. . .echo . . .echo.
Also posted to Poets United Midweek Motif ~ A / The Moment.
Moments echo through history – and humankind doesnt learn from them. Sigh. You have expressed this poem so well.
A precious round of contemplation
Happy Wednesday

I like the format of this poem, the way the last word of a line becomes the first word of the next.
So true! An echo poem about echoes, time, and history! Thank you for echoing with me.
We are more interested in spending millions to explore space that ensure humanity is fed and has shelter. Countries are always at war somewhere spending millions to kill each other but nobody cares as it sells weapons and subdues rogue nations. I say phewy to space exploration and concentrate in establishing a peaceful Earth where all are fed and live long lives.
This poem sounds like an echo too . . . .
“History leaves echoes in time” This line is so profound. So wonderfully put.
I like the thought of repeating the echoes from history.
OH, round and round we go :)
And will we ever learn… we do echo mistakes better than anything else
