Long night moon, last light
before midwinter
Lend your shine
to the crown on the maiden
Guide her steps
as she seeks the shadow hidden selfWolf moon, silver light
upon dark lands
Lend your clear sight
to the eyes of the mother
Guide her hands
as she steers her den and pups through winterElder moon, eternal light

keeper of mysteries
Lend your divine wisdom
to the heart of the crone
Guide her words
as she teaches the young and prepare to move on

This is very beautiful. My favourite of yours so far!
Thank you very much. I like wrapping all my esoteric reading into my writing.
Love this especially; “Elder moon, eternal light keeper of mysteries/Lend your divine wisdom
to the heart of the crone.” ❤️
Oh, the moon and her many personas…
Love how the moon is addressed in every stanza and quite becomes the inspiration.
A rite of passage so delightfully and naturally described – enjoyed reading this…
All of us, always, are preparing to move on, whether we realise it or not.
I love this beautiful moon poem! (A few of us seem to have been similarly inspired by Her lately.)
This is beautiful, and I could see myself using the poem in a Moon ritual.
