The year is up my dear
Time for some witchiness, don’t fear
To burn old habits make you clearPapers to the numbers of three
Pen what you’re willing to shed, feel free
Put all your in emotions, apply with gleeAs you light your flame

Say a prayer, not to stay the same
Burn your doubts, put fear to shame!
Felt the need for some lightheartedness! :-)

If you want a more serious view of my Solstice ritual read this years prayer.
My prayer IS to stay the same – that is, breathing. LOL. Just kidding. There is much needing to be changed. We live in hope.
I’ve done the burning ritual for the solstice–it’s very powerful. Nicely captured here. We’ve got to be careful what we ask for, as Sherry points out!
I agree with Sherry, I need to stay the same so I know who I am. At my age I don’t need change!
Burn, Baby, Burn!!
An excellent ritual!
This is so uplifting!
