Blue Star Horses

Blue star horses running in the sky
Playing hide-and-seek as clouds passes by
Leaving glittering streaks of colour in the sky
Painting pictures of natures wonders to the eye

Waking slumbering stars in the sky
Radiating love for scarred souls like you and I
Twinkling hopes fills the sky
Transforming the sea of tears we cry

Shimmering wishes in the sky
Showing where trust and truth lie
Telling stories of healing and rebirth in the sky
Weaving new paths for us intrepid explorers to try

Blue star horses running in the sky
Igniting fantasy to light, in the land where dreamers fly

  1. This is incredibly gorgeous! I especially love; “Shimmering wishes in the sky/Showing where trust and truth lie/Telling stories of healing and rebirth in the sky/Weaving new paths for us intrepid explorers to try.” 💝💝

  2. All the ‘eye’ end rhymes, the ‘lifting’ sounds, and the repetition of ‘sky’ make it feel as if the poem is taking off, and the reader with it! And you’ve drenched your words with blue, Helene, and shimmering wishes. A dreamy poem.

  3. I thought this image was familiar, and I have a notebook with an embossed image of this artwork which I bought around 10 years ago! A great poetic response to the artwork, full of the freedom of dreamers.
